The Publishing Universtiy 2009
Welcome…

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 25th Annual Publishing University.

Publishing University is considered IBPA’s cornerstone event and we are extremely proud of the benefit it provides. As education professionals, we provide our participants with the best available teachers in the publishing industry as well as topics of interest and importance to publishers of all sizes.Save the Date

This years’ conference will draw attendance from IBPA members and non-members from all over the world. Because of it’s significant location this year in the heart of New York City, the publishing capital of the world, we expect a record turnout and a great opportunity for networking.

The three-day conference is an excellent opportunity for you to meet with your peers, vendors who service the publishing industry, and key professionals who are available to answer your questions and take time to meet with you between sessions and during the social events planned before, during, and after hours.

The city of New York offers an abundance of publishing ambiance not found anywhere else and you will find yourself in the midst of those who make things happen every day in your chosen occupation.

Before you make decisions that will affect the future of your publishing business, take this time to converse with your peers and brainstorm your ideas with each other.

BFAThe annual Benjamin Franklin Awards Presentation and dinner will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 6 PM in the Roosevelt Hotel after classes end. This event is not to be missed, as it also gives you the opportunity to meet new people and to connect with your friends in the business within a social setting.

We look forward to meeting you sometime during the conference. Please look for the IBPA staff, Board of Directors, and Volunteers, and introduce yourself. We promise to take the time to talk with you and make certain you get the most out of your experience at Publishing University.
